Oftentimes a family photo session means more to me than just capturing beauty. I go back, so often, to the fact that there are some people I meet in life that simply impact my for the better just because they are who they are. This family has done that. There’s scripture that says (summarized) people will know you are my disciples by the way you love one another. Lately, I’ve bumped into several families who display that so well and this is one of them.
I’ve realized over the years, through motherhood and photography, that if I sit in the moment and simply watch, there is beauty to be found. Parenthood is chaotic. It’s hectic. It’s incredibly messy. At the same time, there are moments that are pure beauty wrapped up in incredible amounts of love and bliss. If you’re a visual person who needs an example…keep scrolling.
